Itinerary

Upon arrival, you will be greeted and transferred to your hotel. Dinner at a local restaurant.

After departing from Antananarivo or Nosy-Be, your guide and driver will pick you up from your hotel, allowing you to experience the stunning landscapes of Madagascar. Enjoy a picnic lunch before arriving at Ankarafantsika in the afternoon. Settle into your hotel and have dinner at a local restaurant.

Following breakfast, your guide will take you on a boat excursion to observe crocodiles and other water birds such as herons and wild ducks. Lunch in the park, followed by an afternoon hike lasting about 2 hours. You can photograph Coquerel’s sifakas, western woolly lemurs, birds, snakes, and more. This park, established in 1927 and recognized as a national park in 2002, spans 134,000 hectares and hosts 830 plant species and 130 bird species. Dinner at a restaurant.

Depart early after breakfast to visit the unique Anjoibe Cave, where you can photograph bats and the unique plants growing inside. Then, visit a natural waterfall and pool where lemurs often come to drink around midday. Enjoy a picnic lunch by the pool before continuing to Majunga, a large city with a population of about 140,000. In the 18th century, Majunga was the capital of the Boina Kingdom. You will stay at KARIBU Lodge.

After breakfast, visit the Lake Magnatsa, about 18 km from Majunga, where giant carps and eels swim freely. Fishing is forbidden, but you can attract the fish to the lake’s edge with bread. Visit the Giant Baobab tree, and in the afternoon, explore the canyon with its striking red hues—perfect for sunset photos. Accommodation at KARIBU Lodge.

Depart early after breakfast for a transfer to Ambanja, with a picnic lunch along the way. Arrive in Ambanja in the afternoon and check into your hotel (Palma Nova or Baobab Hotel).

After breakfast, your guide and driver will take you through Sambirano Valley, known for its cocoa, vanilla, pepper, and aromatic plant plantations. You will visit the local market in Ambilobe before having lunch at Mahamasina. In Ankarana National Park, explore 10 different trails, visit the Sacred Bat Cave, the riverbeds, and particularly the Tsingy, sharp rock formations created by erosion. Experience Madagascar’s unique flora and fauna. Accommodation at Relais de l'Ankarana.

Head towards the Red Tsingy, a unique landscape shaped by erosion over many years. These red formations offer some of the most breathtaking photo opportunities in Madagascar. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant, and in the afternoon, arrive at Joffre Ville. Accommodation at Nature Lodge.

Explore Montagne d’Ambre National Park, home to unique flora and fauna found only in Madagascar. The park's microclimate, with high annual rainfall (3500-4000 mm), nurtures diverse vegetation and wildlife, including lemurs, waterfalls, lakes, and butterflies. Lunch at Station de Roussette before heading to Diego Suarez. Accommodation at Allamanda Hotel or Grand Hotel.

Your guide and driver will pick you up at 8:00 a.m., taking you to Ramena, a fishing village. From there, board a boat to cross the largest bay in Madagascar. Enjoy the crystal-clear waters, coral reefs, and colorful fish. Fresh seafood, grilled dishes, coconut punch, white sand beaches, and friendly locals await you in this near-paradise. Accommodation at Allamanda Hotel or Grand Hotel.

After a morning pick-up, head to Sakalava Bay, known for its funboard and kite surfing opportunities. Continue to Dune Bay and Pigeon Bay, with their pristine white sands. You can walk along the bays to visit Cap Miné, a former French military base. After lunch in Ramena, enjoy a relaxing swim before heading back to your hotel. Accommodation at Allamanda Hotel or Grand Hotel.

Choose between a domestic flight to Antananarivo or a 4x4 transfer to Nosy Be, with a private boat from Ankify.

  • Antananarivo Option: Flight to the capital, followed by two free days in a 3-star hotel on a half-board basis.
  • Nosy Be Option: 4x4 transfer to Nosy Be and stay in a 3-star hotel on a half-board basis.

Set off at 8:00 a.m. to explore the Nosy Be Archipelago. Visit Nosy Tanikely, home to a marine national park ideal for spotting sea turtles and colorful fish. Collecting shells and fishing are prohibited. Observe bats in the treetops and lemurs (Eulemur macaco) on Nosy Komba, where you’ll also visit local villages and meet artisans. Lunch will consist of fresh seafood on the island.

Enjoy a free day with half-board accommodation at your 3-star hotel.

End of services and transfer to the airport for your onward flight.
